OVERVIEW
Saturday, 5/9/25

In-person
Join the Collective Lit community for a day-long writing retreat just outside of Philadelphia at a retreat center in scenic Delaware County, PA. Adult writers of all experience levels are welcome.
Bring a work-in-progress, or start something new. We’ll open with a brief grounding exercise and meet & greet, then spend most of the day writing or reading in friendly silence. After lunch, we’ll go for a walk and do some more writing. After dinner, we’ll have an optional group discussion about rejection, followed by a supportive sharing circle and closing remarks.
Please note that there is no overnight component to this event — you may choose to extend your stay, but you’ll have to coordinate directly with the venue.
COST
$100 – $300 sliding scale. The cost you will see at check-out is a non-refundable $50 deposit. I will invoice you for the remainder once I know how much you wish to pay.
The bottom of the sliding scale ($100) is for low-income individuals, covering your share of the food and venue, as well as $10-20 of compensation for me, depending on how many people register. I am trusting you to pay as much as you can reasonably afford.
Your ticket includes all your food, snacks, and (nonalcoholic) drinks for the day — learn more below.
